ABOUT
Welcome to Improve the Moment
Helping you find meaning in the moments that shape your life.
Corbin is a writer, thinker, and communicator with a passion for helping others make sense of life through a lens of faith and reflection. He is the creator of Improve the Moment, a growing collection of writings centered on the idea that the most meaningful transformation often happens in the moments we are tempted to overlook.
A graduate of Newman University with a Bachelor’s degree in English, Corbin has spent years developing a voice that is both thoughtful and accessible—grounded in real life, yet attentive to deeper spiritual truths. His writing invites readers to slow down, reflect, and consider not just what they are experiencing, but who they are becoming through it.
In addition to his work as a writer, Corbin serves as the Administrator at The Goddard Church. He also leads a young adult life group, in his church, creating space for honest conversation, spiritual growth, and community. Whenever the opportunity arises, he speaks to groups, sharing insights drawn from both his writing and his personal journey.
Corbin is also the creator of Silver Screen Guide, a platform offering in-depth film reviews across a wide range of genres. Through it, he explores storytelling in another form—engaging movies not just for entertainment, but for the deeper themes they reveal about humanity, truth, and meaning.
At home, Corbin shares life with his wife Miranda, his high school sweetheart. Married for five years, they are preparing to welcome their first child—a new chapter that is already shaping the way he writes, reflects, and understands the meaning of everyday moments.
At the heart of everything Corbin does is a simple desire: to help people live with greater awareness, deeper faith, and a clearer sense of purpose—right in the middle of the life they’re already living.
